Health & Safety Policy & Management System

The Health and Safety at Work etc Act 1974, the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 and the Environmental Protection Act 1990 place a duty on employers to:

1. Prepare a written Health and Safety Policy Statement (when employing five or more persons),
2. Set out the Organisation and Arrangements for implementing the policy,
3. Revise and update on a regular basis,
4. Bring the policy and arrangements to the notice of all employees.

The Health, Safety and Environmental Policy & Procedures are compiled, in liaison with our clients, to develop the management structure for Health and Safety within their company, which details individual responsibilities and monitoring procedures.

The Policy & Procedures are, once developed and produced, installed at our clients premises and key individuals are inducted into the Policy & Procedures and all delegated responsibilities explained.

Additionally, unlike most other consultancies, CQMS can also carry out monitoring of the client on an agreed basis, to ensure that management controls are working.
